From traditional Fado taverns to modern cocktail lounges, this project explores the rich tapestry of Lisbon's hospitality, highlighting the personal connections and creativity that define each establishment. Through these intimate portraits, we celebrate the passion and individuality that make Lisbon’s bars a cultural melting pot.

This project is inspired by my deep connection to bar culture. Growing up in my parents' bar. These spaces have always felt like home. Whether it's an old dive, a fancy lounge, or a gaming bar, each evokes nostalgia—the smell of coffee and alcohol, scratch-off games, laughter, and camaraderie. I fondly remember doing homework at the bar, surrounded by regulars who became like family. Each day brought new encounters and stories. This series captures that sense of community and the vibrant diversity of Lisbon's bars.
